Are you passionate about artificial intelligence, software engineering and turning complex technical challenges into working solutions?

At CribConnects AI, we develop and implement AI solutions for organisations across industries such as financial services, professional services and hospitality. From intelligent AI agents and workflow automation to custom software integrated with existing business systems.

As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you combine hands-on software development with client-facing consultancy. You work directly with organisations to understand their challenges, design technical solutions and build AI applications that are deployed and used in practice.

You will join a growing team of AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Consultants, working on a variety of projects with plenty of room to take initiative, experiment with new technologies and develop your technical expertise.

What Will You Do?

• Develop AI applications: Design and build solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI and AI agents, from prototypes to production-ready applications.
• Build system integrations: Connect AI applications to existing databases, APIs, cloud environments and enterprise software.
• Develop intelligent automations: Build workflows and AI-powered systems that automate repetitive tasks and improve business processes.
• Work directly with clients: Understand technical requirements, identify opportunities and translate business challenges into practical software solutions.
• Deploy and improve solutions: Test, deploy and monitor AI applications, focusing on reliability, performance, security and scalability.
• Explore emerging AI technologies: Evaluate new AI models, agent frameworks and development tools, and apply them where they provide value.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a technically skilled, curious and proactive engineer who enjoys building software, solving problems and working on diverse projects.

What you bring:

• A completed Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Informatics or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with APIs, Git and software development.
• Practical understanding of generative AI, LLMs and their applications.
• An understanding of software architecture, testing and reliable application development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and an interest in working directly with clients.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Ideally, you have 1–3 years of relevant experience in software development or AI engineering. However, recent graduates with strong technical skills and relevant personal, academic or internship projects are also encouraged to apply.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI APIs, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases or AI-agent architectures.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD and cloud deployment.
• Experience with automation platforms such as n8n or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, monitoring, security and data privacy.

You do not need to know every technology listed above. We value a strong technical foundation, curiosity and the ability to turn ideas into functional software.
